Hover Modular Synthesizer Beam Controller
HOVER BEAM CONTROLLER
Hover is an analog synthesizer beam controller. Vertical hand movements measured with an infrared beam are converted into CV and gate signals. Freeze the output by pressing the button and continue later where you left off.
A Hover beam controller can be used to add expression to modulation creation with the ease and control of a hand movement. Hover comes as a standalone desktop unit. For a Eurorack module version see Hover Euro, or to control MIDI gear with Hover see Hover MIDI.
Hover will be available for order in late 2024/early 2025. Sign-up to the mailing list to be notified about release information.
The main button can be used to freeze the output in various ways, including allowing Hover to be used like a standard fader or knob: modulate the output with hand movements, when done freeze the output by pressing the button. Hover has a looper function, allowing you to record hand movements, loop them and play them back at different speeds. The CV output can be scaled between 0V and 10V. The 5V gate output can be triggered by a set hand position threshold. The gate can also be set as an input to trigger the button function.
